Gelato Café currently operates in one location: on the plaza at the fashion show mall on Las Vegas Blvd (3200 Las Vegas Blvd S) offering 18 different flavors of gelato and sorbets this walk-up and go operation is the perfect oasis on the Las Vegas strip. Gelato Café’s products and trademark have been placed into some of the most nationally-renowned establishments in Las Vegas, Nevada which is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. As gelato becomes more popular in the United States it is used more and more for special events and parties. Gelato Café has a catering division for just that reason. The company distinguishes itself by providing the highest quality micro produced premium product while maintaining authentic Italian ice cream standards. “Gelato Café” currently identifies one Gelatoria (ice cream parlor) which offers a very rich signature gelato to be eaten as a snack or frozen dessert. These items are created and produced in a local gelato kitchen daily.
All recipes used are created by Ronnie Lee and are specially designed to ensure both the richest flavors and the healthiest alternative to ice cream. Currently there is one type of operation which carries the Gelato Café trade mark. This is the grab-and-go facility at the Fashion Show Mall which allows for walk up and carry away.


Nationwide Recognition

Gelato Cafe has also successfully drawn attention to its operations on a national level having been featured in several nationally published magazines and trade publications. These featured articles and reviews have ultimately inspired industry icons to extend various offers to participate and invest in Gelato Café’s future endeavors. Although much has been achieved in a short period of time, it hardly compares to things to come. Ice cream is an American icon in the food world, and the industry as a whole has consistently developed and marketed products which appeal to a wide variety of consumers. As a result, 93% of households report eating some form of ice cream. Gelato is simply a richer tasting ice cream with less than 50% of the butter fat and half the calories found in premium ice cream. The word “gelato” means “frozen” in Italian and presents itself as a healthier dessert alternative as well as a snack. This fact is essential when considering the present trend of up-scaling food items and seeking healthier food alternatives. In the American market there is a clearly identifiable trend towards the consumption of high-end commodities and affordable luxuries.
